ASU's Residential Network (or ResNet) provides an internet connection for everyone on campus. ResNet's entire purpose is to provides you with a safe, fast and convenient connection. Academic Computing Services, Network Support Services, Housing and Residence Life, and Physical Plant Telecommunications all work side-by-side with ResNet to provide you with the best possible Internet experience while you are at ASU.

Computer Network Registration

In order to provide you with a safe and controlled network, any internet accessible device that accesses the Internet must be registered with ResNet, including web browsing phones, laptops, desktops and video game consoles. Each student is allowed to register up to four devices on the ASU network. Register by opening a web browser on your device. You automatically will be redirected to the ResNet registration page. If you are not redirected, type in the web address http://netreg2.appstate.edu. Once there, follow the prompts and enter your ASU student user name and password.
